Therapy with me is about reclamation. Not only reclaiming the mind, but also the wisdom of our bodies, the knowledge of our lineage and lived experience, our connection to land and nature, and the courage to live the lives we desire.

Approaches

  • A woman with curly hair and earrings, eyes closed, enjoying the city sunset.

    Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy

Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy can be helpful with gaining awareness of unhealthy thinking patterns, creating a deeper and more compassionate relationship with the self, and managing anxiety, depression, and symptoms of PTSD.

  • EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) uses bilateral stimulation to support you in working through traumatic and distressing memories contributing to PTSD, anxiety, depression, and unhealthy behavior patterns.

  • Somatic-Based Therapy

A somatic-based therapeutic approach is supportive in building a healthy mind/body connection, learning to understand and respond to the body’s cues of distress, and managing symptoms of anxiety, chronic stress, and PTSD.
