FAQ

  • What is your session format and fee structure?

All sessions take place virtually over a secure HIPAA-compliant platform. When connecting to services, you’ll get access to a client portal where you can log into your session.

Sessions typically take place for 50 minutes unless otherwise specified. At times, half sessions and double sessions may be accommodated.

    Intake fee: $160

    Ongoing therapy sessions: $135

You have the right to request a Good Faith Estimate under the No Surprises Act, and one will be provided to you upon scheduling/request.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I’m an out-of-network provider, meaning I’m not in-network with any insurance companies.

However, if your insurance company offers out-of-network benefits for mental health, I can provide you with a superbill to support in completing forms for insurance reimbursement. You can find out about out-of-network benefits by calling the number on the back of your insurance card.

  • Do you offer a sliding scale?

I offer a limited number of sliding scale slots for those in need of reduced-cost sessions for therapy. Sliding scales will be confirmed prior to an intake session and I’ll conduct a brief interview to support in determining your session fee rate.

  • What populations do you specialize in?

I currently treat adults aged 18-65 for individual therapy and specialize in trauma processing and EMDR.

I often see clients with the following clinical issues: Anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), grief & loss, and chronic stress.

I also work with clients managing the following life circumstances: Imposter syndrome, perfectionism, stress management, burnout, achieving work/life balance, difficult life transitions, religious trauma, and integrating spiritual identity.

I do not currently see children/adolescents or offer couples or group therapy.

  • How would you describe your approach?

I would describe my approach as holistic, educational, compassionate, mindfulness-based, and purpose-driven.

I aim to provide you with a safe space to unravel and the tools to rebuild with a stronger foundation. You’ll not only learn skills to manage symptoms, but also receive support in creating a life that feels authentic, aligned, and fulfilling.

  • How will I know if you're the right therapist for me?

Therapy works best when you feel comfortable, understood, and safe with your therapist.

Before meeting for a full session, we’ll have a consultation call for you to ask any questions that might help determine if this therapeutic relationship is right for your needs.

In our first few sessions, pay attention to whether you feel a sense of connection, safety, and understanding. I’ll check-in about how things are feeling, and we can talk openly if you ever want to explore a different direction or approach.

If after a few sessions, it doesn’t feel quite right, that’s okay — finding the right fit is part of the process, and I can support you in finding someone who feels like a better match.
